Nearly 400 Iola Roberts Elementary School students attended First Priority on March 19, 2012. The club meeting kicked off with praise and worship and students sang, “My God’s not dead. He’s surely alive. Living on the inside. Roaring like a lion.” First Priority Campus Coach Kevin Walls referenced that we would be celebrating this, Christ’s resurrection, in a few weeks on Easter.
The meeting continued with a student opening with prayer and reading the day’s bible verse: Matthew 19:26 ~ Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Kevin explained to students that no situation is too big for God and that He sees what we don’t see. “You may be in a situation at home that seems impossible, but you have to let God takeover and put your faith and trust in Him,” said Kevin. “He takes a situation that looks impossible and totally changes it.”
Are you facing what seems to be an impossible situation today? Give it to God and He will take care of you because “with God, all things are possible.”
