We would like to invite you to join the tens of thousands of students in our area and millions world-wide THIS Wednesday, September 22, as they participate in the 31st annual See You at the Pole™ (SYATP).
SYATP is about one simple thing – STUDENTS in PRAYER. Before school, students will meet at their school’s flagpole to pray for their friends, families, teachers, school, city, state and nation to God. SYATP is a student-initiated, student-organized and student-led event.
“I think this year’s theme, ‘Just Pray,’ is a powerful reminder to stop planning, stop stressing and stop looking on social media,” said First Priority Greater Birmingham Ministry Director Debi DeBoer. “We need to stop focusing on what is going on in the world, stop worrying about what we can’t control and do what matters. The battle is won on our knees, so JUST PRAY.”
For this year’s theme, scripture verse and multiple resources including graphics, a planning guide, ways to submit pictures and report attendance numbers and links to videos, visit our Web site.
THIS Wednesday, September 22, we encourage you to gather with your family, at your place of business with coworkers or even online and HUMBLE yourselves in PRAYER and SEEK the face of God and take part in one of the LARGEST prayer movements in our nation. PRAY for friends, families, teachers, schools and our world. JUST PRAY!
