On Wednesday, September 26, 2012, tens of thousands of students in our area and millions world-wide will participate in the 22nd annual See You at the Pole™ (SYATP). Before school, students will join together at their school’s flagpole to pray for their friends, families, teachers, school, city, state and nation to God. SYATP is a student-initiated, student-organized and student-led event.
This year’s SYATP theme is “Awaken” and the scripture is Ephesians 3:14-21. This theme passage of Paul’s prayer for his friends in Ephesus is one of the most famous prayers in the Bible. He desires so deeply for them to be able to grasp the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love (msg). He yearns for his friends to awaken in a fresh way to the endless possibilities of what only God can do. He is passionate in his cry for awakening in their inner beings like they’ve never experienced.
We encourage you to join us in prayer on September 26, for an unusual outpouring of the Spirit of God to awaken the hearts of students on campuses throughout your community… and the world! We also invite you to attend a SYATP gathering in your community and join students in prayer.
To encourage one another, plan to listen to 93.7 WDJC radio, 92.5 FM or 850 AM WXJC throughout the day and share the victories and struggles associated with this momentous day.
GATHER at your school flagpole,
PRAY for friends, families, teachers, schools and our world.
ASK God to reveal who He is to your campus and community. Pray for AWAKENING.
