On March 30, 2012, Pinson Valley High School First Priority students watched a video about anger. God is love and when someone is abused, mistreated, there will be divine anger. God’s anger increases peace in the world; it makes the world a better place. Does your anger make the world a better place? What are you going to do about that anger?
What makes you angry? Does the hungry, the suffering, the abused, lost people make you angry? May you become aware of your anger and it become beautiful and sacred acts of healing. Do something about that anger and help increase peace in this world.
A couple of First Priority leaders shared the following about their anger and hurt:
“Seeing the hurt in our school, people who don’t know Jesus. This is a place where we can share God’s love and reach out to them.” ~ Jessica
“We used to have a lot more involvement with First Priority and people quit coming. We’re called to share God’s love with people around us, to plant seeds and that’s what we’re going to continue to do.” ~Sidney
People need our help to become more like Jesus. If we hurt for lost people, the hungry, the suffering, the abused, then we need to be like Jessica and Sidney and do something about it. Will you help increase peace in the world and share God’s love with others? Do something about what causes you grief and anger in this world.
