Your Impact In Fall 2020
Your prayer and support helped sustain the work of First Priority as we navigated the beginning of a school year like we have never seen in our 30 years of school ministry.
Because of your prayer and support:
- We were able to promote and coordinate not one but two See You at the Pole dates for students to gather at their school flagpoles for community prayer. The second date was needed because many schools were not yet having in-person school on campus.
- We have been able to represent Christian students to the local school boards of education ensuring that COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines do not deny first amendment rights of our youth.
- We have been able to pivot to online training for our middle and high school student leaders and adult volunteers. We have seen First Priority clubs meet off campus and virtually thus reaching some students that would have likely never attended an on-campus meeting. Clubs are recently starting to meet on campus again.
- We produced 14 video lessons for thousands of parents to use at home with their elementary school children whose clubs have not been able to meet on campus this school year. We also developed an online training portal for the adults who will continue to lead these elementary clubs when they are able to once again meet in person.
None of this would be possible without you! We appreciate your continuous support during these uncertain times. Students need hope; they’re hurting and starving for community. Together, we can reach more students with the hope of Christ in 2021! Thank you for an amazing 2020 and we look forward to all God has in store for this new year!
