We’re very excited to invite you to First Priority’s Benefit Dinner that will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Metropolitan Church of God. We will be having a silent auction sponsored by Priority Kids that will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Our keynote speaker is Ricky Brooks, Former Express Oil Change CEO and President of National Christian Foundation Alabama. You will also receive the pleasure of experiencing a First Priority club meeting by students so you can see firsthand how our clubs operate on school campuses. Did you know that suicide is the second leading cause of death amongst teenagers? Students are lonely and struggling with anxiety and despair. They are craving relationships. They need community and personal connections. They need to be seen and loved. Most importantly, students need Jesus. First Priority provides a safe environment where students know they can open up about struggles, find friends and hope.

The Gospel Still Works!

If we’re faithful to share the Gospel,
people will respond!

At our Leader’s Summit on September 22, First Priority student leaders were given a challenge for the month of October to have the highest club attendance during “Invite Week” where the Gospel would be shared.

We are so excited to share the results of the challenge! We had 13 clubs participate and report back to us. Out of these clubs, over 1,000 students attended and heard the Gospel! Congratulations to Chelsea Middle School for winning the challenge! Their club had 26% of the student body in attendance, and the greatest news is that 56 students professed Christ as Lord of their lives! As a result of winning the challenge, the entire student body (approximately 1,000 students) received doughnuts passed out by First Priority student leaders. Each student also received an invitation card to attend First Priority the next day where the Gospel would be shared and at least 250 students attended that club meeting!

We would like to thank all of the clubs that participated and let you know how proud of you we are! Student leaders were very creative in ways to get students to attend. They were intentional with their efforts and saw HUGE results! Since the challenge week, 12 of the 13 schools have seen a significant increase in attendance numbers!

Nearly 600 students have professed Christ this school year thus far and while we are celebrating these changed lives, we know there are many more to be reached. Will you help us reach the more than 163,000 students across Greater Birmingham? Help us introduce Jesus to them so He can change their lives too. Students need your support and there’s no better time than now! From now until the end of the year, your gift will be DOUBLED for TWICE the impact! Thank you for helping us reach students with the Hope of Christ!

Dear First Priority Partner,

Thank you so much for your continued partnership in reaching every last student with the Hope of Christ. This generation needs Hope – the assurance that God can do what He says He can do. Students need to know that anxiety, depression and loneliness can be healed in Jesus’ name. As I mentioned before, teenagers are “open” to Christianity but if the Gospel message is not seen and proclaimed to them, how will they know? Trust me, the world is screaming its agenda at them. First Priority clubs have such an incredible opportunity to change this generation. Since school started, 554 students have given their hearts to Jesus Christ. Will you partner with us to make sure Every Last One has a chance to know that Jesus can change their life? He will never abandon them. There is still time to have your gift matched dollar-for-dollar.
