We would like to invite you to join the tens of thousands of students in our area and millions world-wide THIS Wednesday, September 28, as they participate in the 32nd annual See You at the Pole™ (SYATP).
SYATP is about one simple thing – STUDENTS in PRAYER. Before school, students will meet at their school’s flagpole to pray for their friends, families, teachers, school, city, state and nation to God. SYATP is a student-initiated, student-organized and student-led event. This year’s SYATP theme is “Aflame” and the scripture verses are Romans 12:11-12 – “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
“I love the theme of See You at the Pole this year because it is a reminder to never let our passion grow dim for earnestly seeking the Lord for our schools, city and community,” said First Priority Greater Birmingham Ministry Director Debi DeBoer. “Now more than ever, this generation needs to shine bright and be bold to share the Hope of Christ that is within them. Jesus is our only Hope to change our nation.”
We have multiple resources available to students on our Web site including graphics, a planning guide, ways they can report their attendance numbers, info about the SYATP app, and links to the online SYATP store and multiple other resources. Is your church or community planning a SYATP Rally? If so, be sure to send all the details (date, time, location, etc.) to info@firstpriorityal.com so we can help you get the word out and promote your event!
THIS Wednesday, September 28, we encourage you to gather with your family, at your place of business with coworkers or even online and HUMBLE yourselves in PRAYER and SEEK the face of God and take part in one of the LARGEST prayer movements in our nation. PRAY for friends, families, teachers, schools and our world.
