On September 25, 2013, more than 30,000 local students participated in this year’s See You at the Pole (SYATP). Millions of students were involved globally. Before school, students joined together at their school’s flagpole in prayer for their friends, school, city, state, nation and the world. Many lives were touched, changed and challenged by one of the nation’s largest prayer movements. This year’s SYATP theme was “#IFTHEN,” based from the scripture verse 2 Chronicles 7:14 ~ “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” May we seek God, turn from our sins and pray for healing across this world.
Thousands of students also participated in SYATP rallies held across the state on the evening of September 25. There were many decisions made for Christ on this momentous day. During this important prayer event, students were challenged to pray, seek and turn to God.

“The First Priority students did an excellent job this morning. Sophomore, Caleb, encouraged the students and shared his personal testimony. Sophomore, Ethan, did an excellent job presenting the gospel. Teachers also came out and supported the students in praying and several students responded by wanting to get involved in what God is doing at Thompson High School. Tonight, First Priority students will gather to be a part of the Homecoming parade and will be praying for fellow groups and the community as well as handing out explanations of the gospel. I am proud of these students and excited to see what the Lord will do through them this year.” ~ Teacher, Thompson High School
“We had between 60 and 70 students, teachers, faculty, and parents this morning. It was powerful – wish we could do it every morning.” ~ Teacher, Mt. Laurel Elementary School
“The Holy Spirit showed up even in the rain this morning at Pelham High School. We kicked it off singing several songs and praising God! The leaders handed out Jolly Ranchers to students as they walked up. Using the candy, they separated the group by color for our prayer groups! It was a powerful morning watching 85+ students come together in prayer for each other, the school, family, government and the entire world! We ended the morning singing “Hello My Name Is” by Mathew West and praising God as the students went to class!” ~ Teacher, Pelham High School
“Rudd Middle School had between 150-175 in attendance; it was hard to count! Over 100 tracts and 300 Life Books were given out. Students sang, read, prayed, etc. It was very moving.” ~ Eric Sorrell, First Priority Campus Coach, Rudd Middle School
