Join Us For The FPKids Training
Are you interested in starting or helping with an FPKids Club during the 2013-2014 school year? First Priority has developed a brand new FPKids Curriculum and we’d like to provide you with all of the information needed to implement a Kids Club in your community this school year.
We would like to invite you to join us for an FPKids training on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hunter Street Baptist Church. This high-impact, high-intense training session is for all those who would like to start or help with an FPKids Club (elementary/intermediate schools): Teachers, Parents, Children’s Pastors, Youth Pastors, Pastors, Community/Business Leaders, and Adult Volunteers. We want to see the hope of Christ impact every student in your community.
For years, church leaders have heard the claim that nearly nine out of 10 Christians accept Jesus as their Savior before the age of 18. If that statistic was accurate in the past, it no longer depicts U.S. society. Now Barna says that, “If Jesus is not already part of their lives by the time they leave junior high school, the chance of them accepting Him as their Lord and Savior is very slim (6% to be exact).” That is why we unite the body of Christ with a plan of action to influence the school with the gospel.
In order to start or help with an FPKids Club, you are required to attend a training session. The cost for this training is $20 and includes: a background check, T-shirt and the first four months of curriculum. At the training, you will be provided the new FPKids strategy, monthly themes and implementation plan. The training will feature live music, guest speakers, breakout sessions, small groups and much more. We hope you will mark your calendars now and plan to join us for the FPKids Training on Saturday, August 24.
