March 2, 2011 – This meeting has been postponed to a later date. As soon as the Parent Seminar is rescheduled, we will post it. Please help us get the word out!

First Priority would like to invite you to the Next Gen Imperative Parent/Pastor Seminar with Sean McDowell and other community leaders on March 5, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Gardendale First Baptist Church, 940 Main Street, Gardendale, 35071.

Join Sean McDowell and other community leaders as:

  • Pastors and youth workers explore seven imperatives for reversing the alarming statistic that 70 percent of teens leave the faith behind after high school
  • Youth workers explore Next Gen strategies for engaging youth as fully devoted followers of Christ
  • Parents explore “Imparting Life” strategies for passing on an authentic faith to children and teens

The vision of this seminar is to launch a multi-year initiative seeking to raise up Next Gen churches with the vision, passion and adequacy to impart a contagious, transforming faith to emerging generations.

For more information and to register call 800.881.8008, ext. 219 or click here. Admission is free. This Parent Seminar will be held during the Leadership Rocks Youth Conference “Chasing Elephants,” with Brent Crowe, author of the new Nav Press book “Chasing Elephants: Wrestling With The Gray Areas Of Life” and Dr. Jay Strack. Special guests include Worship Leaders Rush of Fools and Illusionist Drew Worsham.

At this conference, your students will not be taught what to think about the gray areas of life but rather how to think biblically. Some of the issues your students will be taught to think about are the cyber world, social drinking, entertainment and humanitarian efforts. Click here to learn more about the conference and to register your students. You may also call 205.871.8886.

Don’t miss this incredible youth conference and seminar!
