Dear Partner,
We know your time is valuable and while we do send you updates and stories about the lives that are touched by First Priority and FPKids Clubs, we try not to send endless requests for your help. However, a unique opportunity to support First Priority and other struggling non-profit ministries is worth your time.
There are now new and temporary tax benefits for financial donations to nonprofits like First Priority. One provision recently passed as a part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act offers enhanced tax incentives for making charitable contributions for the 2020 tax year. This includes an above-the-line deduction for individuals who do not itemize. Taxpayers are allowed to deduct up to $300 per individual taxpayer ( $600 for a married couple) of their cash donations to qualifying organizations like First Priority. Simply said, you can deduct your $300/$600 charitable contribution even if you take the standard deduction and do not itemize your 2020 deductions.
Visit our website donation page to make your one-time gift or a monthly pledge to take advantage of this unique opportunity to share Christ with those who need Him.
This encouragement to give this year while nonprofits are most in need will lead directly to less taxes owed when you file in 2021.
We understand and sympathize that many people are without work and in a difficult place themselves right now. However, if you are working and able to give a gift, it will make a tremendous impact at the critical time of survival for ministries like First Priority. Take advantage of this incredible opportunity here. Thank you for your support!
God Bless,
Greg Davis
