What if you could give your students a defined clarity on any “gray” issue they might face for the rest of their lives?
Well, there is great news…this year at Leadership Rocks youth conference we will carefully examine the biblical subject of freedom in Christ and then extract a set of principles that will act as a theology of belief for the seemingly gray areas of life. It is a journey that teaches not what or why but how to believe on any moral or ethical decision not specifically addressed in Scripture.
If your students…
– Want their own experience;
– Seek intentionality;
– Have room for both clarity and mystery; and
– Desire to be convinced in their own minds…
Then you can’t miss this year’s Leadership Rocks experience!
Join First Priority for Student Leadership University’s Leadership Rocks Youth Conference – “Chasing Elephants,” March 4-5, 2011, at Gardendale First Baptist Church. At this conference, students will not be taught what to think about the gray areas of life but rather how to think biblically. Some of the issues your students will be taught to think about are homosexuality, the cyber world, social drinking, entertainment and humanitarian efforts.
Featured speakers include Brent Crowe, author of the new Nav Press book “Chasing Elephants: Wrestling With The Gray Areas Of Life” and Dr. Jay Strack, founder and president of Student Leadership University. Special guests include Worship Leaders Rush of Fools and Illusionist Drew Worsham.
