First Priority National Campus Missionary Week
October 25 – 29, 2010
What is it?
Kah-riss is five days of focused Campus Missions on over 3,000 middle and high school campuses with First Priority campus movements across the U.S. With over 300,000 students now participating in First Priority campus clubs all over the country, our hope is to see at least 7,000 students commit their lives to Christ and join a local church for discipling.
Where did it come from?
Kah-riss is a national response by the team at First Priority of America to a burden expressed by local First Priority networks all over the U.S. This burden has been expressed on grass-root levels by Christian students who desire to see not only this generation reached for Christ, but specifically their peers on their school campus as they see themselves as campus missionaries. That cry has reached the hearts of local First Priority city leaders including the Priority Parent, Faculty Sponsor, Youth Pastor and Business Leader Networks.
How can we get involved?
I like to look at this week as a National Seek Week. We are going to have our best efforts to share the gospel this week. We want Every Student on local campuses to have an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. During the week of October 25-29, please be in prayer for our students as we seek to reach them with the love and message of Jesus Christ. Also, celebrate with us what God is doing on campuses across the nation!
