We would like to invite you to participate in Kah-riss, National Campus Missionary Month. You may have implemented Kah-riss at your school last October and are familiar with it. If you are not, Kah-riss is a focused campus movement during the month of October. The mission is to see students on over 2,700 campuses across the U.S. share the love and message of Jesus Christ throughout their school campus. Our hope is that over 10,000 students will place their Hope in Christ over this 4 week window. Last year, nearly 600 salvations were reported across the nation. Over 100 of those salvation decisions were made in the Greater-Birmingham area. Over 120 salvations have already been reported this month!
Kah-riss comes from Ephesians 2:8 ~ “For by ‘Grace’ you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” There are several ways you and your students can get involved. Most clubs promote Kah-riss throughout the month and schedule a focused Seek Week at the end of the month. If you need help scheduling a speaker for that meeting, please contact us and let us know. We have several promotional items including posters, post cards, and Conversation Sheet. Send an e-mail to info@gofirstpriority.com or call 205.871.8886 if you would like to distribute posters and post cards throughout your school. Please get your students to promote and participate. Encourage them to invite their friends and share the hope of Christ with them. Please keep a record of any decisions made during Kah-riss and e-mail them to info@gofirstpriority.com.
