33 Miles
33 Miles Founding Members Jason Barton (formerly of True Vibe) and Chris Lockwood have been together since 2005 writing, collaborating, recording and performing. 33 Miles, based out of Nashville, who signed to INO records in 2007, released its first album the same year. That album soared to #8 on the Billboard charts and garnered the group a nomination for “New Artist of the Year” at the 39th annual GMA Dove Awards as well as a nomination for Best New Artist for the 2009 Visionary Awards by the Christian Music Hall of Fame. Since that time, 33 Miles has had 7 songs in the Christian Top-40, including the group’s biggest hit, “One Life to Love” that reached number 10 in 2008. 33 Miles’ 2007 song entitled “There is a God” was played as a wakeup call for the Space Shuttle astronauts on a mission in 2009. Shonlock
Illinois-bred, urban rock/ hip hop crooner, producer and writer Deshon Bullock a.k.a. Shonlock canvasses a form of artistry that resonates into a discerning lesion in the art of translation. The former dance and choreographer for Arrest Development and R and B princes Aaliyah is a multi-instrumentalist, serving up the type of production, lyricism and performance stamina that leaves fans yearning for more. Lock’s genius has garnered him an eclectic space in the arena of emerging spiritually-conscious artists; however the Atlanta based lyricist resume rivals that of the most veteran artists. The Homecoming
THE HOMECOMING is a power pop group that can’t get away from being described as the “Christian Jonas Brothers” with a clean image, good looks and an energetic sound that has earned the band a large fan base from all over the world.
The Homecoming made its national debut in 2009 at Cornerstone, arguably the world’s largest Christian music festival, through a personal invitation from Traa Daniels – the bass player of P.O.D. and the president of Ryot Phoenix Music and Media. That summer, The Homecoming outperformed the other 25 bands that were featured on the Ryot sponsored stage by playing for bigger audiences and selling more merchandise, including Ryot‘s own The Wrecking, a band frequently heard on Air 1 Radio. As a result, Cornerstone used the band’s song, So Loud, in the festival’s 2010 promotional video. Click here to learn more about The Homecoming.
Act of Congress
Hailing from Birmingham, Ala., the organic sound of Act of Congress combines hook laden melodies, compelling songwriting and intelligent acoustic instrumentation that’s rapidly gathering attention throughout the country. Having released its debut album “Declaration,” Act Of Congress’ sound is grounded, approachable and technically masterful. In five short years, the band has been recognized by the likes of Paste Online, SXSW, Disney, NACA, APCA (finalist for APCA 2010 Best Band) and Billboard (winning the Disc Makers IMWS Award.) A featured artist on the nationally syndicated Woodsongs Old Time Radio show, Act Of Congress has also worked with Live Nation, opening VIP areas for artists such as John Mayer, Edwin McCain, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, and recently taped a live broadcast for XM radio. Act Of Congress has also had the privilege of working with churches and outreach events across the country. Individually, each member of the band serves in a local church, which fuels their collective desire for the spread of the Gospel locally, nationally and abroad. Followthrough
Followthrough is a very young Christian Rock band made up of five very young men. Ranging from 17 to 18 years of age, you can find these five strapping rapscallions leading worship at their own home church every Wednesday night and Sunday morning. Coming together for an event called Ignite’09, the group decided to keep the band going. Using Ignite’09 as a launching pad, Followthrough has lead worship and performed at many different venues, events and concerts. In 2010, Followthrough was blessed to perform anywhere from their hometown of Pell City, Ala., to Dardenelle, Ark., and played with Rush of Fools, Big Daddy Weave, Floodgate, Menlo, Chelsie Boyd, The Homecoming and many more. The main goal of Followthrough still and will always remain: to worship, glorify, serve and aim everything towards The One True God. Click here to learn more about Followthrough.
