Lesson Title: The Big Picture: An Easter Lesson

Objective: Your students will be challenged to fully grasp the impact Christ’s resurrection has had on their lives.

Scripture Focus: John 20:1-20

Overview: The resurrection of Christ is the hinge-point of history. The resurrection put so much of Jesus’ teaching and ministry in perspective. (It certainly cast a clarifying light on His death.) But it did much more than that: it infused the future with a hope that was unknown before Christ emerged from the tomb. Jesus had conquered sin and death! This hope has moved humankind since that moment. In this lesson, your students will be lead to articulate their response to Christ’s resurrection, and how it has affected them, personally.
