If you and/or your friends would like to join the team and volunteer at Winter Jam, please send an e-mail to: v.kowalchick@gmail.com. The following are important details about volunteering for Winter Jam from the Birmingham Street Team Leader:
- All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or older, responsible, flexible, and have a servant’s heart.
- You should be on time and arrive at 3:30 p.m. the day of the event (specific location for check-in to come later).
- Depending on your assignment, you may not be able to see the show, but be prepared to stay for the entire time. You will be released by the tour team when your duties are completed (generally 30 minutes to an hour after the show is over).
- Parking and food is your own responsibility. Eat before arriving or bring money to eat there.
- Dress comfortably and God honoring.
- Specific duties will be assigned during the training meeting after you arrive at the venue (Volunteers should not be expecting a specific position. Thank you for your flexibility and spirit of cooperation).
- You will get into the venue at no charge and most volunteers are able to see at least part of the show, but we literally need over 100 volunteers (with the largest need at the merchandise tables, selling t-shirts, CDs, and other artist merchandise, so sometimes depending on how busy it is, this may not happen).
- Please forward this information on to others that may be interested in helping out.
