International Recording Christian Rap Artist Hallel H.P. visited Daniel Payne Middle School’s First Priority club meeting on March 16, 2012. Hallel spoke the truth from God’s word. He challenged students to know the Word because it pays in life. He quizzed students on the following verses:

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” ~ Psalm 139:14  God has made us all so different and His works are incredible. We praise Him for His amazing wonders.

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” ~ Romans 12:10  We are to put others before ourselves.

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” ~ John 12:32  After Christ’s death, he was lifted from the earth and people drew near to Him. We are to draw near to Him.

Hallel gave out prizes to students who knew these verses. He challenged students to carry these verses with them: “to praise God for His wonderful works and for making them different, to put others before themselves and to draw near to our Savoir.”
